thanks to my lil blinky... im updating my journal.
well its mid-feb, i have organised my classes with a kickass timetable of mondays and tuesdays only, i start class in two weeks. things are pretty good here, the weather is krazy hot.. on the weekend it was 41C and 39C. on saturday i had a good friends 21st BBQ, which was really cool, we setup two technic 1200's a big 3 channel vestax mixer plus my cdj's and 2 channel vestax.. we hired some big self amped pa speakers.. was a rocking backyard party.
im still working at 'robarta' where im making nice expresso coffee all day 4 days a week. actually just got back from a dinner at the owners house who are actually close friends.
i have also finally started doing ceramics again.. its been 2 months. but i jumped on the wheel and felt quite comfortable. i have studio time tomorrow evening which i am looking forward to.
i believe that if things go smoothly i will graduate in november.. i havent decided what i will do when i finish.. definately after the summer i will be wanting to travel.. maybe Japan, maybe Chicago... im not sure yet, it depends on where everyone is and what i can do.
this year for me is all about saving money and passing all my subjects, and a lil partying as always. still havent found a nice girl to date.. but things might happen i guess.
but for the bigger picture.. i have my dream.. which involves, Japan, ceramics, music, family and friendships..

well, im here to report about my weekend.
worked friday, went to club to see private session with stacy kidd (chicago house Dj), he fucking rocks! killian you gotta get into house dood there are so many mad dudes right around the corner at your disposal.
after 1 hour of sleep i went to work again for 8am - 6pm, then went out to the real stacy kidd nite out at a bigger club, it was unbelievable!! no drugs no drinks and i was rocking with all my mates until 6am, got up after 30 mins of sleep and went to work for 8am until 4pm...
then went to a bar on the waterfront.. its a half out door club.. was game on!

what a great weekend, this is hugh in fine unstoppable form cos summer has hit me like a dodgeball to the face!

if anyone out there wants to get down.. come down to melbourne!

hello my peeps,
how is everyone doing? i kinda feel like a piece of coal.. ive been seeing a bit of marie, she is doing really well, i must report that she has come out of her shell a bit more and has become alot of fun to hang out with. and it turns out that her host mum is a ceramic artist.. who i kind of already knew thru my studio. so yesterday i went over and we did some raku firing, where u fire pieces upto 1000 and then remove them, while still white hot put them into combustion bins, the results are really interesting. ive done this before but doing it at her house, in her back yard where she has her studio is really enjoyable. plus im talking in japanese with marie and her firends and eating udon snacks... so i really feel like im back in japan when im there. so i just got home, i stayed the night because we were firing well into the nite.. on a 35 degree day.. really hot! got up early and continued.. hence now that im home i feel like a piece of coal..
yes after this i will take a shower. hey killian u snazzy bitch i added your journal to my friends list, so now i have morgan, tom, marco and killian.. is there anyone else reading this?? if so tell me so i can add you.
well my バイト is cool, im doing breakfast at a cool cafe bar, 3-4 days a week. i make expresso coffee all day, and hang out with the finest swedish gurl... oh man boys.. its a hard life. mathilda and i went out on sunday after work, a sweet hot summery nite, started at 6pm with a couple barcadi 151's (keeping the tradition going boys ;-) ) and drank wagermiester and mai tai's til 5am... i was so plastered.. crashed into a couple parked cars on my lowrider.. i dont remember how many but my legs have some nice battle wounds.. anyway just keeping up with the usually crazy nites of fun in the sun.
i got 80% for both written and spoken for my final results in japanese. which was a nice relief.
my dad and sonia were married about 2 weeks ago, and things have been great, they got heaps of presents too. they have bought a holiday house together, its about 2 hours drive, near the beach, they will eventually move down there when they retire.
things are good, im no much more happy when the sun comes out. i have a plan to keep it that way.. when i finish school in november next year i will work thru the summer in melbourne, then move up to cairns where i will bartend on magnetic island, then after 5 months there i will come to japan maybe for summer time... woohoo sun!
i have been worried about my japanese recently, but after spending 2 days hanging with marie i feel myself warming up again, as it started to come back to me.. so i gotta find a sweet japanese gurlfriend rather than chasing crazy swedish chicks and then i will continue to improve my japanese.. maybe..

umm next on the agenda.. going to the national gallery tomorrow as it has re-opened after being closed for 6months, then later that nite i have a family dinner, im cooking, and using my ceramics to serve all the dishes.

its also been great chatting to my friends over msn, keep dropping eachother a hello, cos we all gotta keep in contact for the reunion!

i saw kill bill and matrix 3, kill bill was mad, that chigusa is crazy hey tom! and matriz was ok, not the kind of finalle i was expecting. waiting for the return of the king but will also check out the last samurai, thanks lillian~

the weather is great in melbourne! i can almost smell the sea salt breeze from my house. i bought my baby on monday, a nice green lowrider bicycle.. its so cool.. now there is a marketing opportunity.. lowriders in japan.
had my dad's bucks nite on sunday ( and no, my bro and i didnt organise strippers.. imagine that.. at your dads bucks nite... easssh) but it was lots of fun, we went down to st kilda lawn bowls club (its like botchy) and rolled some bowls and drank some beer, then went to a cool pub called the george, and then to a really good small restaurant, and had fantastic dinner. my brother and i got trashed.. ended up picking his girlfrien up from the hotel where sonia (my dads fiance) was having her hen's nite... ended up doing the party boy act... was hilarious!
anyway, things are good with me, ceramics is hard, but my glazes are coming out well. throwing big stuff is still difficult.. but i think it always will be. its really strange not having uni.. i need more play buddies, cos everyone works or still has exams... boring. but my best buddy benny will be arriving back in melbourne mid december... party time! nye is gonna rock! and on the 1st of feb there is an amazing festival with a crazy ass line up... including gangsta feat dj premier, miguel migs feat lisa shaw!! HUGE!

well i just got home from ceramics, and on my way home i dropped in to see mumma. i hadnt been to ceramics for like 3 weeks because of exams and other things that got in the way, id glazed heaps of stuff last time i went so today i got heaps of stuff from the kilns. im pretty happy with the results.. ill get photos one day.
from now on is going to be pretty busy.. with friends bdays, my dad is getting re-married (3rd time lucky) and my バイト　as well. i think ill buy a suit this week, maybe a nice saba one, they should be reduced since its summer now. ive decided one buying a lowrider bicycle aswell, one with a sissy bar, banana seat and steamers!! a woohoo im excited but there goes all my hard earned savings...

its hard when friends are down and you wanna help them, but you dont know how or if you can... just gotta let them know that people care and are hear to help... right?

saw matrix 3.. was pretty average. cant wait to see the final part of lord of the rings! anyway
ive got work tomorrow so i better hit the hay

Well people, this is my first entry to this journal thingyme jiggy..

this to all my buddies who i made great friendships with while in japan..

unfortuately the adventures in japan chapter has now finsihed for now.. so life must go on in melbourne... right ? it was hard coming back downunder after having such a action packed fun filled time spent studying overseas. the first few months were fine because i didnt leave a relationship with a girl etc but the confusion set in about 3 months after my return. in the first two months i was motivated to find my life again, i got a j.o.b. at a new cool bar, spent lots of time with family and friends, set out to find a ceramics studio, and re enroled to university for this semester. things seemed great on paper, but i really felt empty, i find myself still attached to japan and my international friends.. im not really enjoying myslef here.. maybe my expectations were too high etc.. im not sure but i needed to understand my confused feelings and re-align my current patterns of thought. because basically i was unhappy.. and my way of thinking wasnt helping at all.. i lacked confidence and a driving force to get out there and enjoy myself...

well here i am now.. ive been home for 6 months, ive seen a counselor 3 times, kept my job but shifted to morning shifts 4 days a week, im saving money, just finished my exams.. things have improved.. i just need to find things to do.. to keep me entertained etc i have great friends here but not like the environment of the dorms.. なつかしいかな～　
well i dunno what i wrote but it feels good to get some stuff down..
much respect goes out to my bud marco.. keep on pushin on buddy and always try and wear that great smile of yours!

ill try and add some pics to this journal to make it more colourful~
